February. The district observes Lincoln's Birthday on February 8 and Presidents' Day on February 15.16 The Blossom Trail usually opens in mid-February, with apricot, peach, nectarine, plum and almond trees in bloom.18 Post idea: a snack-for-the-drive special on blossom weekends.

September. The state's Labor Day holiday fell on September 7, 2026, and the Bulldogs opened at home against Sacramento State on September 12.1511 Heat lingers, with 19.9 days at 90°F.6 Post idea: game-night hours.
