Delete your Presly account
You can delete your Presly account and all of its data at any time. Here's how.
In the Presly mobile app
- Open the Presly app and go to Settings.
- Open the Account section, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted.
On the web
- Sign in at presly.ai and open your Dashboard.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Prefer email?
If you can't access your account, email us at support@presly.ai from the address on your account and we'll process the deletion for you. Because deletion is irreversible, we may ask for additional verification before acting.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your account and profile.
- All workspaces you alone own, including their content. Workspaces that other team members belong to are not destroyed: your access is removed, and if you were the owner, ownership passes to another member so the team's or client's data survives. If you want a shared workspace gone, delete it (or remove the other members) before deleting your account.
- All content in those workspaces — posts, drafts, brand kits, uploaded media, schedules, and analytics.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Any unused credits and remaining subscription time are forfeited without refund.
One important limit: deleting your account does not remove posts that were already published to your social media accounts. Those live on Facebook, Instagram, and the other platforms under your accounts — you can delete them there.
What we keep, and for how long
When you delete your account we also disconnect every social account you had linked, so we stop reading from and posting to them.
A few narrow records do not disappear the moment you press delete:
- Store purchase records. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, we keep the store's purchase identifier along with the account that claimed it, indefinitely. This is an anti-fraud record: it stops one paid subscription from being reused to unlock a second account. It holds no posts, no media, and no profile details. A similar minimal record of previously connected social-account identities is kept to prevent free-trial abuse.
- Billing and tax records. Records of payments and invoices are retained as required by tax and accounting law. They hold no posts, media, or profile details.
- Encrypted database backups. Our database is backed up daily. Deleted data can remain inside those encrypted backups for up to 14 days, after which the backups containing it expire and are destroyed. We do not restore deleted accounts from backups.
Everything else listed above is removed from the live system right away.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your Presly account does not cancel a subscription you bought through the App Store or Google Play — those are billed by Apple or Google and must be cancelled separately, or you may keep being charged.
- Apple (App Store): manage or cancel at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
- Google (Play Store): manage or cancel at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
Cancel your subscription there before deleting your account to avoid further charges. If you subscribed on the web via Stripe, we cancel the subscription as part of deleting a workspace you alone own, and our team is alerted if the cancellation does not go through — if you ever see a charge after deletion, email support@presly.ai and verified billing errors are refunded. A subscription on a shared workspace that survives your departure continues.
